Nissan Maxima Fuel injector Problem

My car has about 82000 miles on it now and when I went to the dealer last (when it had 77000) they recommended a fuel injector cleaning. I looked online and most people tell me not to pay the dealership $180 and to just put one of the fluid cleaners in, but I'm unsure and don't want to make the wrong decision. What would you recommend.
