I have a 2007 jeep grand cherokee laredo--im driving down road about 40 mph and it would not spped up--gas pedal acted like it didnt work--pulled over--put in neutral--gas pedal worked just fine--started driving would not go faster than 30 mph--stopped tu

You might have the trouble codes pulled. Any Advance Auto or Auto Zone will do this for free.
