I just changed the front rotors & pads as well as the rear pads on my wife's jeep. During the first drive, a check engine light came on. It was my first time working on it but it was pretty straight forward unless I missed something. Any ideas as to what could cause this?

The first thing you need to do is take it to a auto parts store like auto zone and have them scan the computer for codes.Post the exact code numbers not code descriptions.Thats are starting point.

I would check all your abs wheel speed harnesses for being damaged from the brake job that makes the most sense.Let me know what you find.

Well autozone cleared the CEL and my wife drove the car all day today and it hasn't come back on. It could be a freak incident but if it comes on again I'll let you know.
