2007 GMC Acadia Repair Question

Power steering
I have a 2007 GMC ACadia. Out of no where the sterring is really tight but only when i apply the brakes. Such as parking or turning. If i am turning and the gas is applied its fine. The power steering fluid it at the right level.

If the power assist comes back when you speed up the engine a little, suspect a weak pump. That seems to be a common problem.

check for a slipping belt also. watch while you turn wheel when stopped/park.
