My ford freestyle 07 engine stalls after installing a new battery, any idea why?
The problem never happens on the first start, it only happens when I stopped the car and start again, I have to keep pressing the gas pedal for the engine to stay on! I have checked the battery, alternator and the battery connection they are all good.

there is a re learn time. how long has it been??

sometimes it takes up to about 50 miles for the motor to re learn idle.

So should I drive the car for a while without turning engine off?

yes, i would do some highway driving for about 50 miles
