My 2007 Ford F150 has a problem when I hook trailers up to it. The left turn signal makes all the lights on the trailers blink, and the right doesn't do any thing at all. The lights will come on when I turn them on, but then nothing happens with the left turn signal until I turn the lights off. Then it is back to all the lights blinking on the trailers. I know its on my pickup where the problem is because every trailer I hook to has the same problem, and other pickups have no problems on the same trailers.

You will have to re wire the trailer plug, pull it off and check for faulty connections, I am not sure what the correct code for trailer wiring is in the US, (i am in Australia) but if you go to a parts store and look at the back of a trailer plug they normally do have local standard wiring schematics printed there, you will need a test light to check individual wires on the plug for correct operation as well.

AN INEXPENSIVE TEST LIGHT, MAY AID IN FINDING "WHAT SHOULD DO WHAT", SO THAT YOU CAN CORRECT IT

KINDA LIKE THE 2 LAYING IN THE TOP OF MY "TO GO, BOX!"

ON MY FRIEND'S DAD'S TRUCK (NEWER MODEL, MAKE UNKNOWN, TRADED OFF)--THE FLASHER HAD TO BE "UPGRADED" FOR IT TO WORK PROPERLY (BEYOND ME?) NEW FLASHER WAS NEARLY $100, REPLACED THE OLD, WHICH WAS "FACTORY MUMMIFIED" IN TAPE, ALMOST OUT OF REACH, UNDER THE DASH

SEND RESULTS, OR MORE QUESTIONS
