I bought a 2nd transmission and it was recently cracked going down a dirt road, what would I have to do to diagnose the problem? Would I need a whole new transmission again or would it be an easy fix?

Where on the transmission is the fracture? If main case it will not be worth getting it repaired, check all engine mounts and transmission mounts for alignment and make sure all mounting bolts and bell housing bolts are tight and the transmission is aligned correctly and not hanging up un location dowels.
