Most likely the switch or one of the motors. The plugs on the three motors are the same. Switch two of the plugs between two motors. If the forward / backward switch works but performs the wrong function, you'll know the switch is okay. If a different switch makes the seat go forward and backward, you'll know the motor and gear are okay.
