My car failed to start last week and had a p0335 code, crankshaft position sensor. I replaced the sensor with no change, it turns over but not start. I tried my wife's key and it started but stalled a few moments later with the same code, 335 and failed to restart. A mechanic told me to unplug the cam sensor and start the car, which I did and it started so I replaced the cam sensor. The car started but again stalled in a few seconds. If I wait a few minutes after it starts it will now start again and repeat this same scenario. I replaced the oil pressure sending unit a month ago and since this started happening I have cleaned every ground I could find. I've checked battery voltage and it's fine. I'm going to have the keys checked and replace batteries as soon as I can get to town. I can't find a port to check fuel pressure but it is running and shutting off. I would gladly listen to any suggestions or knowledge. I really can't afford to have it towed and repaired. I would also like to check the sensor to see if they are any good but don't know how. I have the electrical testers if I knew what the resistance was. I have a feeling it's the electronic throttle body but I hate to throw parts and money at it without knowing. I'm currently recouperating from my third back surgery in two years, short on cash and have daughters in high school. Please help. If I can get the wife and kids to stop eating and buying clothes I'd be alright. Lol

To me it sounds like you have a defective crankshaft sensor, can you tell me which brand you are using? Here is the location of the sensor so we can be one the same page, also this sensor does not need a relearn procedure. Also I would clear the codes and then crank the engine after another sensor to see if it comes back. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
