Chrysler PT Cruiser Mechanic Problem
I just bought a 2007 base pt cruiser. i have a month warranty on the trany and i am hearing a clunk as the car downshifts to stop sometimes. the mechanic said that it had a brain that is getting used to my driving style and that it should stop in a few weeks. Is this true? What else could be the problem.

my 2007 chrysler pt cruiser has a clunk sound when it downshifts at a stop sign. the mechanic said that it is new to my driving style and will correct itself. could it be something else?

nope. tell him to put it in writing and extend the warranty.
there is a issue with the valve body. have them repair it correctly for you before it expires
