Chevrolet Tahoe Engine Problem
My check engine light came on yesterday I contacted onstar and they ran a diagnostic check and said that my throttle control system was causing it to come on. what exactly is the throttle control system and what does it control? Also if it needs to be replaced about how much should I be looking to spend?

Throttle control system controls the engine speed. Part of it is at the gas pedal and the other at the throttle body.
What was the exact troube code retrieved?
Cost would depend on the repair and parts that need replacement. It could be a loose wire connection somewhere and a proper diagnostic should be performed to locate the source of the problem.
