Chevrolet Tahoe Engine Problem
Car went int a reduced engine mode,any idea what would cause this to happen. i did check engine oil level it was o.k.

Check for applicable codes. How long since a tune-up? Some of the national brand autostores used to check codes for free. To check codes, yourself, at the least you need an obd2 code reader that will work with your year--make--model.
