My 07 malibu A/C is blowing hot air, at one point. The freon was right. Then. I let freon out in hopes to replace with. New now I'm going to have to manually jump the compressor. To get the freon back to where it belongs, I know, I'll be right back where I started at that point, after hrs of research I now find myself humbly asking you how I change this thermal valve. And am I headed in the right direction in your professional opinion? Please help

What thermal valve? You don't have one. If you mean the low pressure switch you unhook electrical unscrew it and replace it. From the sound of thing syou shold let a professional take care of this for you so you don't cost yourself more money screwing around trying to get the system to work.
