Chevrolet Express Noise Problem
"I am about to purchase a 2007 Chevy Express 3500 V8 6.0L with only 10200 miles on it and have noticed a whining noise when taking off in first and second gear, as speed increases noise not noticeable. Do you know what it might be and if this is a problem and would GM cover it?"

2007 warranty has long gone away no matter what mileage you have. if the owner has an extended warranty and can transfer it to, they may cover it. as it may be something in the trans.
