Hi, i have a BMW 116i 07 with about 43,000 miles on the clock, the car has all of a sudden become really stiff to turn, and produces a loud humming noise, which can only be heard on the inside of the car, faint on the outside.

If anyone has any idea please could you let me know thank you.
