I've been using toyota passo since two years now. Whenever every 4 to 5 months the check engine light turned on, I changed its airfilter and the light on the dashboard disappeared, but now its been more than a week since I changed the airfilter but to no use. Please advice me a solution, except the self diagnostic remedy, thanking you in advance, Musharib

You must do the scan to identify the exact fault code, there is no way of easly detecting the fault with out expensive test equipment.

For some models you are still able to use manual methods to retrieve the trouble codes but problem is that not all blinking codes have an answer as we do not have the complete list of faults.
