Pontiac Grand Prix Thermostat Problem

The heat turns on but only blows cold air. also the engine temp.is below the half way mark, and its usually half way.. is it the thermostat? I have had the coolant flushed a month ago. it has plenty of fluid and there aren't any leaks. any price ranges on the labor of replacing the thermostat?? Thank you!

Yes, it sounds like the thermostat. If you replace the thermostat yourself, the part is the only cost.

With the labor costs, garage, it depends on their labor rate per hr. If they charge a 100bucks per hour and it takes about an hour. The labor charge will be 100 bucks not counting parts and diagnostics, if there are any diagnostics.
