Nissan Maxima Trunk Problem
Continuation from yesterday's question. There are no mounting nuts behind the trunk room trim. Are your instructions valid? Looks like the way to the bulbs is through the outside of the trunk via removal of the rear lens cover. Can you help me with this? Thank you.

Hi:
I don't know who you spoke with, but will try to help. The tail lights are mounted to the body through the trunk. There should be a wingnut type retainer behind the trim that allows you to remove the lens assembly. The outside of the lens is molded and doesn't come apart.
