I HAVE A 4.0 THE A/C ONLY WORKS ON LEVEL 1 WHEN I TURN IT TO LEVEL 2 THE A/C LIGHT AND CLUTCH TURN OFF. DO YOU THINK THIS IS A MECHANICAL ISSUE OR A FAULTY CLIMATE CONTROL SWITCH?

I have checked all fuses and relays freon level is good clutch cycle switch is good. All I can think of is the climate control panel isn't sending power to the compressor

Level 2 fan or cold setting?

It's manual settings and level 2 fan but the fan still blows but the A/C light and clutch cut off

Sounds like the blower resistor has failed.

Roy

Even if the fan is still blowing? Is there a separate resistor for the cold air?

No, it allows the fan to go slow medium or fast or very fast.

Roy

I know but I'm still getting all the speeds just no A/C

Fairly complex system of control. The first element is called the FAC front air control unit. This signals the BCM ECM and IPDM E/R all these elements must agree to let AC compressor run.
