I just bought a 2006 E350. The windshield washer pump does not work. No whirring sound when I push the lever in. How do you change the pump? It looks like I have to remove the right front wheel and get into the fender from inside the wheel well to reach the pump. Say it ain't so.

Yes, you need to remove the right front wheel then remove the fender liner, the black plastic or sometimes it is plastic coated in fabric, to get to the washer reservoir. You might need to loosen the reservoir to get to the pump on the rear side of the reservoir.
