The one screw still left fell out and the plastic cover came completely off. So I need to get another screw (because the part needs two to hold it in place) OR get 2 new screws if the one I currently have isn't the right one. Do I have to order these directly from Kia or can I go to a place like Ace Hardware and buy them? How would I know which size/shape to get?

If you have a screw to match you can try a hardware store or a non big box auto parts store.Or bring the shifter in to try to match the thread. You can try kia but i would guess to get that screw from them you would probably have to get the whole shifter knob.I could be wrong on that one but that would be my guess that it would come with the knob.
