2006 jeep cherokee 4.7 . When in open loop engine runs fine ,Cylinders1,3,5,7, go dead in close loop.
Cylinders 1,3,5,7,go dead when engine goes into close loop . Replaced o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. When engine is warm you can unplug overhead coils for 1,3,5,7 and no change .

i would be looking at a possible pcm. before doing this, get a real shop with the ability to diag this correctly.
make sure they do a compression test and check all the basics.
