Jaguar X-Type Maintenance Problem
My oil warning light keeps coming on, although a new oil filter and oil change have been carried out, is it a faulty pressure switch

If it's the oil "pressure" warning that you are referring to and not the maintenance reminder, then the only way you are going to know is by either manually talking an oil pressure reading or just replacing the sender. Replacing the sender would be cheaper.
