Stalls after shifting into reverse

Hummer stalls after shifting into reverse and you are turning the steering wheel to back into a parking space. Also it stalls when you are standing at a traffic light.

Have it scanned for codes, hard and soft, and let us know what turns up.

We had it scanned and no codes came up. What does hard and soft mean?

Hard means codes that make the check engine light come on. Soft codes are those that don't.

Check to see if any vacuum lines are rubbing against the steering column.

I had the same problem with my H3. I got a tune up and now it runs great. Originally, it said my MAP sensor needed to be replaced though.

Did you resolve or get an answer for this? I have this happening all of the time. The car stalls when going in reverse and when turning when cold.
