Honda automatic transmission question
Hi, Im looking for a car. I was told by a few friends that honda automatics are garbage and I wil have problems with it. Im looking at 2006-2010 civics. How are these automatics that come in these years. Im trying to find a manual but im not seeing that many of them. Thanks

i dis agree. they are great cars and the trans are fine. the main reason for any trans failure is either abuse or lack of service.

also i read on carcomplaints.com that the 06 civic has the most problems then the 07 and 08's with a defective motor block. Is this a real recall? Also how would I know if im buying a civic at a dealership if that block isnt part of the recall?

call the dealership service department, give them your vin and have them check for any recalls.
