2006 Honda City how to clean AC filter

AC of the car : Cooling ok, but very slow i.E. Temperature falling very slowly. Rats are entering into car & interior smelling foul. From where are they entering? It is from engine side?It is now still not 2000 characters long. I can't help.

What have you doe to try to rectify the problem?
Is the freon pressure checked and both high and low sides showing correct pressure?

Rats can enter vehicle through any openings and the fresh air vent is one of it. If you keep the fresh air vent to allow fresh air to enter vehicle, the A/C system is going to be affected.
