My battery will die totally overnight every night, to then start it I have to connect either my Battery charger/jumper to the post on the relay box and the strut tower to then open the hatch, to then hook to the actual battery to jump start the vehicle. As soon as I connect the cables to the battery, I can turn the key and it starts right up. I assume the car won't jump from the place under the hood because the voltage has dropped too low? This morning the voltage tester read 1.2 volts. I need to know what is draining the battery every time. Please help.

Hi Andy,

Unfortunately, this will require what is called a parasitic draw test.

There is no easy way to describe this but this video does a really good job of explaining what you will need to do to find the issue.

Clearly you have something remaining on and draining the battery. If your battery has 1.2 volts then you will need to replace this as well before performing this test. However, do not leave the battery hooked up if you are not performing the test or it will drain your new battery as well.

Please let me know if you have questions and I will be happy to assist.

Attached are your fuse panel locations and fuse details. Thanks
