How do I access the horn assembly on a 2006 Ford Fusion to check if it needs replacement? The car was wrecked and rebuilt. It was inspected and passed but I have yet to be able to to blow the horn. This also affects my Alarm. I cannot find any books available to help me with this. I checked the fuse and have tried to remove the headlight assembly but stopped when it didnt come out easily. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Could be the ground circuit, horn, horn relay and horn button switch

Removal and Installation

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
Remove the 4 RH front fender splash shield screws.
Pull the RH front fender splash shield downward to access the horn.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the bolt and the horn.
To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
