Have a 2006 ford f350 diesel (6.0) that will not start when engine is warm. Just replaced heui pump and oil cooler, what else could it be?

What is the pressure on the high pressure pump?

Not quite sure but it is getting pressure. Husband has tried several different things and we are still having the same problem after we we assured that the $1500 we just put out would fix it. We were told could be possible IPR valve thats bad but hate to keep putting out more money and not get it fixed.

We need this reading as this is a common issue when hot on the 6.0.

IPR could be bad but I assume it is a guess. Did a shop check this for you and condemn the pump and valve?

Yes we took it to a mechanic who assured us this was the problem because he had just worked on one a month prior before that was doing the same thing. Thinking it could be a leak or the orings? Hard to get it to a ford dealer to hook up to computer since the closest one is about 45 minutes away and with the starting issue makes it harder.

Your mechanic should have a scan tool that will read the necessary sensors to verify. If he does not, find a new mechanic capable of looking into the issue.
