Car would not crank, sat for 40 min then.

Car would not crank, sat for 40 min then started. Now it hasent failed again. Battery is good, all connections are tight. What else should I look for?

Starter, or the anti theft, neutral safety switch, even starter relay. Which I believe you should now learn how to make it a tool, Go to the engine junction box, You will see fuses and relays, The relays are black in color and square, take out the starter relay pry open the cover you will expose the inner electrical mechanical works, with the cover off put this relay back in its place, you have a tool E brake on. Make sure vehicle is in park, wheels choked collapse the relay so the electro mechanical switches make contact and turn over the starter, Now turn the ignition key on switch the starter relay to turn on the starter. Put the relay cover back on.
