Truck will not start, brand new starter and fairly new battery

We just replaced the starter and the battery is fine, the fuel pump turns on, we are currently checking the plugs for a spark and didn't get one. Where should we go from here?

I would be doing a diagionstic scan and checking for a possible faulty crank angle or cam angle sensor, start here.
