In the pcm there is a gel my question is what is the purpose of it, how to remove it and do I need to replace it after repair

If the gel is in where connection from harness it's dielectric compound and you should put some in when pcm is replaced.

The gel is on the motherboard aka computer

Just leave it alone it's an insulator

I know because ecm's must be rebuilt by a rebuilder because you have no way to reflash it after it's fixed. But you know everything

If I dont repair the Eprom I do not have to reflash it. Each time I ask you a question you answer is TAKE IT TO A PROS you not helping at all
