Just an update on the 2006 Chevy SSR they bypassed the fuse block underhood and found out that the fuse block underhood went bad. So I have the truck now. They worked on it without telling us. We told them we were not paying another dime. They took it upon their selves to diagnose it. They said it would be dollars. I said no we are not paying we told you not to touch it. So the owner told us we had hours to get the truck and we were not allowed back and she said she would not charge us. I already have chevy looking at this better business buero and also a news station. I am also taking this to small claims court because they mis diagnosed the truck and we had spent 541 dollars in this truck already for it not to be fixed. Anyone have a diagram on how to replace the fuse block underhood on a 2006 Chevy SSR and a wire diagram. I see it has lots of wires underneeth. The guy told me the only way to get it out is to break it to pieces. Is that true. He also said they were solder on is that also true. Thanks.

It is not an easy job and they are correct with soldering.

The fuse box is a common failure. I would check around with some private shops for installing it.

I did one told me 80 to install it if I supply the part and 85 to program the truck if it has to but they were not sure until they got it. This ais a good deal and I am happy it is less then what they wanted they wanted 1300 plus where I had it that included the part. I will get it all done for either 507.61 with the part included or 592.61 if it has to be programmed which is cheaper. The part is 427.61to buy from GM directly. The place where I had it told my dad he was going to give us a price break. It is 721.34 MSRP. He cut it a 100 dollars I said why would I do that when I can get it from the same place cheaper. I am happy we moved it now I have to waste more money and tim. GM is calling me tomorrow and I hope they help me better. I am also making a phone call to better business buero to make them awhere of the problem. Thank you for suggesting GM it was the best thing you ever suggested to me. They are taking care of business. If I am not happy after tomorrow with them I am going to small claims cout and getting all my money back that the made us spend for no reason. The guy told us the old throttle body and computer are still good.
