my check engine light is on and im worried about it . my car still drives fine but im at over 100,000 miles. what could it be and what should i do

Here's what you have to do go to a auto part's store like auto zone have them read your code's.Let me know the exact code number's post it on this same question.Then we can go from there without them i can't tell you much.
