Renault Megane Clutch Problem

I have been told that the slave cylinder needs to be replaced as there is a leak from the gear box. This was found out when a friend replaced the clutch master cylinder as he thiught this was causing the problem (clutch sticking and not being able to change gear). I need to get it fixed but want to know a rough price that I can expect to pay. Thanks

Slave cylinders are pretty easy to replace. The last one I did cost $10. Labor will probably be right around an hour so I would say $75-$125 depending on the shop and how expensive your slave cyl is. Call around to parts stores and ask what one runs then get a labor quote from the shop you take your car to get serviced.
