2005 Renault Masters light won't turn off

Dear Sirs,

i have a renault master, a light won't turn off in the back. It is a small light by the floor next to the sliding door.
normaly it comes on when you open the door and turns off when you shut it.

now it just stays on.

if there is any easy fix great, if not

I don't really need it, is there someway to disable it myself?
