Heat wasn't working well and checked the antifreeze first, noticing it was low added some. Within a few seconds I hear the antifreeze leaking out the front right of my car with a nice puddle. My car has been running smoothly otherwise.

You have to find more specifically exactly where the coolant is leaking from. Start by looking for a small 4"-long rubber hose with a 90 degree bend hanging down from the passenger side of the firewall, under the hood. If coolant is dripping from that hose, the heater core is leaking. You might have to crawl underneath to see that hose. If you have to raise the car up, be sure to support it solidly on jack stands before you go under it.

You had a large puddle but found no leak?

This is typical of a leaking heater core, especially if you still have that miserable red Dex-Cool antifreeze and it hasn't been changed often enough. Acids form in it that corrode heater cores and radiators.
