2005 Kia Spectra Repair Question

Kia Spectra Starter Problem
My husbands car won't start consistantly. we know it's not the battery. it appears like it won't catch sometimes to get the car started. my husband mentioned it being the starter???

could be bendix drive not engaging the motor. it would require replacing the starter motor
