After auto body work done on my Jeep I have been having battery/electrical issues. I took it in to replace the battery and the guy said my battery was fine (11.3) and my alternator is also fine. I jumped it and run it for a hour and it was fine yesterday (I drove 80 miles). Now it won't start and it seems like the battery, the starter is clicking but it won't turn over. could the body work have caused something with the electrical?

What is the voltage now, tested at the battery posts? Will it jump? check/take apart/ clean/ tighten well, all connections from battery all the way to the starter and ground--do one at a time--check for start, after each one! anything that a cable is bolted to or squeezed onto--spare none!....I would think you would have at least 12 volts "OFF" and 13.5 or better running. Solenoid or Starter may also be issues here too...lets not do dumb unnecessary stuff till you do the checking!--The Medic
