There is a rattling sound in the exterior of the car when I turn corners in 2nd and 3rd gear

It pretty much happens exclusively at low speeds, it is a 6 spd manual car. It is a rattling noise in the clutch that happens for about 3 seconds until RPMs get back above 2500 or so. Very loud with windows open. Have been told by non mechanics that it might be a timing belt issue, read the rattling noise section and nothing really made sense for it.

Hi well I think we can rule out the timing belt. This sounds like a pressure plate issue or a throwout bearing issue. When you hear the noise if you depress the clutch does it go away/ if yes definate clutch issue.
