2005 Hyundai Sonata Brakes Hard You First Get Car Try Drive Short Length Cannot

My brakes are hard when you first get in the car and try to drive a short length- you CANNOT stop on a dime. Then after the car isnwarmed up and driven a little they normalize. What could be causing such a problem? We just replaced the front brake pads and Brake Max replaced the master cylinder.
