At highway speed my car shakes very badly.

When going over 45 mph the car starts shaking, if I let off of the gas or put it in neutral it stops shaking.
I had the tires checked and balanced. Had new struts installed. Same issue. Took car back and they found a bad axel seal. This was a tire place. I think it may be the axel or drivetrain? I would think if it was the axel it would still shake if the car is in neutral? Any thoughts?

Check the run runout on the rims. It checks the rims also check all the motor mounts.

They said Motor mounts looked ok. I would think they checked the rims

Not necessarily, bclvr. Check the transmission mounts as well. The trans seal will not normally cause the problem you have. However, an internal transmission problem can.
