Ford Taurus Heat shield Problem

I have a rattle/grinding noise when: braking downhill, taking left turns and backing up with the wheel turned to the right. I had the water pump, alternator and flex pipe replaced on the car prior to this noise occurring. Please Assess.

The heat shield for the brakes might be bent a little and touching the rotor. It takes a little change in load to make them touch in different situations. So check the clearance of the heat shield to the rotor especially around the lower ball joint.
