Hi, my name is frank. I just sold my 2004 maxima. That car was given me a lot of trouble. Now, I'm trying to buy a 2005 Ford freestyle. I want to know if I'm jumping into another problem or that one is ok . Please let me know. Thank you. My email address is frank_sarfo@yahoo.ca

That's an opinion question and answers will vary. Mine is a Ford will give you a lot more trouble than a Nissan. At the top of my list for reliability would be Toyota. Really expensive cars break down just as often, if not more, but they're built and repaired with expensive parts. All newer cars of the last 15 or 20 years have some nice technology but they also make use of a real lot of unnecessary, complicated, expensive, and unreliable technology. Ford has taken that WAY beyond most manufacturers. When you have a simple problem like a dead horn, dead wipers, or a heater control that isn't working right, you can expect an expensive computer to be involved, and Ford does one of the worst jobs of making repair parts available for older vehicles.
