you may have to drill it out.
try using a punch to hit it and see if it releases but it may or may not work

it stuck in a spark plug hole trying to get helicore out it alumiman block

HELI-COILS ARE HARDENED
BACKING THEM OUT JUST MAKES 'EM TIGHTEN EVEN HARDER AGAINST THE WALLS OF THE HOLE
"SOMETIMES" YOU CAN GET A "PICK" UNDER THE H-COIL....THEN GRAB IT WITH SOME SHARP NEEDLE-NOSE PLIERS....A GOOD STEADY PULL WILL "UNRAVEL" THE "SPRING" IT OUT OF THE HOLE
IF THIS HEAD IS A KEEPER...I'D SAY REMOVE IT FROM THE BLOCK...TAP THE EZ-OUT OUT FROM THE OTHER SIDE. MAYBE AN AUTO MACHINIST REPAIR THE SPARK PLUG HOLE (SOUNDS LIKE IT MAY BE SORTA KNARLED NOW). THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO FIX IT, OTHER THAN A HELI-COIL
