I have a 2005 ford expedition and it is makeing a noise in the motor, a car dealer told me that it might be a lower valve train problem. Do you have any idea what this might cost to be repaired?Did ford have any of these poblems with this model?

This model has a few issues- most related to oil pressure. This engine is sensitive to low or dirty oil. It wipes out the cam journels with are machined directly into the aluminum head. Check oil pressure with the engine hot. It has to have at least 15psi hot in gear.
