I would like to remove and clean the throttle.

You really dont' need to remove it to clean it. Just get some choke cleaner in a spray can and open the throttle plate and clean both sides and wipe up the residue. It's at the end of hte air cleaner duct going from the air filter. Make sure you reconnect it so it doesn't leak air otherwise thecar will run poorly if at all its' also shown under tune up on the site here
