2005 Chrysler Pacifica Repair Question

Can my gas pedal be stuck?
When in park the rpm is rev'd up to 2. When in drive the car accelerates on its own up to 40-45mph. When I brake it still feels like someone is pushing on the gas.

i would have the cable checked for binding, throttle body checked for not closing and checked for vacuum leaks.

no, you do not want to loose control. get it checked asap.
