Chevrolet Uplander Steering Problem

2005 Uplander has play in the steering wheel. I can't find the steering box to adjust it out.

that's becuse it's arack and pinion not a steering box. have your fornt end checked

Wrong. There is an adjustable spring loaded yoke that takes out the play. There is so much stuff under the hood that I can't find the rack and pinion housing. I know for a fact that there is nothing wrong with my front end.

All I wanted was to know where it is. Hopefully a link to a picture so I know where to look.

it is on the subframe for engine and trans. is where the rack is located. it may have a shiled in fron tor on the bottom so you can 't see it. the pic i'm sending is the only one we h ave so it' won't be alot of help.
