Does any air blow from the defrost or floor vents in the front?

Are you saying that the blower motor in front doesn't come on when you turn the front heat ON?
Please clarify.

the blower resistor or motor itself could be failed. check the resistor first as it is more common of a failure

Usually when the resistor fails you will only have HIGH as a blower motor speed. Rarely will ALL speeds fail at the same time. I've never seen it happen in a resistor type system.
